Stuff Happened

Hello everyone how you all doing?

Well this week has been absoultly crazy! So we had the chagnes last week on Friday, a few days early bc Presidente went to Uruguay this week! And I have a new comp! I kinda mentioned it last week but very briefly! well i would say its a new comp even tho it really isnt... I am with Elder Vaz again! We were comps together in the office like 9 months ago and now we are back together hahaha so awesome! hes such a stud! He really is like my brother here in the mish! 

So this week was crazy! 17 new missionarys got here and 14 of them were from the States! They were so lost when they got here hahaha it was super funny! But a cool story, i actually apparently knew one of them when I was in the Higley Groves ward back home haha! So that was cool to talk to him and get to know him better! But that happened all saturday! we started with a meeting with Presidente at 6 in the morning and then a capacitation with the trainers and the new missionarys! All in all we were in meetings with them and interviews and stuff the whole day until around 830 when all of them finally left to their areas! A super long day! and on top of that, we had to take a few of them to the bus terminal at 12 to go to their areas far out so we got home around 1 in the morning haha! It was a super fun day but it killed us for sure hahaha!

So this week we really didnt get like any time to work in our area... but its all good we will make up for it this week! We are seeing miracles every day which is the best ever! Please pray for Sofia and Marisol and her family! They are progressing really well and we are planning their baptisms for this saturday!

Biggest Miracle ever! Sorry its a long story!

Hey everyone hope you had a great week! This week was a week of Milagros!!!! seriously such a great week!

Ok so we had 2 baptisms this weekend! Fernando Peña and Genaro Zamuido! The 2 of them were basically milagros!  Fernando is a kid thats 9! Part of his family are members! He has wanted to be bapitzed for a long time now but his mom always said no... but finally his mom said yes! and now she is also thinking about being baptized! so thats great! we are super excited for her!

The biggest milagro is Genaro Zamudio. Ok so this man is from Peru, hes 55. He has been asisting church for over 2 years now with his family! His fam got baptized 2 years ago! He goes to church every sunday without fail every week! He is seriously more loyal then the members hahaha! So he always says that he will be baptized, just not now!  So 10 months ago his Son went out on a mission. Hes in Chile. His Son always tells him to get baptized but he just gives another excuse on why he should wait. Well the missionaries have tried for years with him and hes always shut them down. One night, on and intercambio, Elder Ponce and I went to his house and had an amazing lesson! Really the spirit was so strong! We read some parts in DyC that are super strong and a bit harsh to hear to be honest hahaha! Well that was 3 weeks ago, it was the first time he really excepted a baptismal date! Well that date fell bc he gave another excuse but anyways he still went to church! In church we had a few people that were progressing for baptism so the Bishop stood up and invited all the inv to stand in the crowd. He then proceeded to say that everyone of them was going to be baptized the 18 of Agosto! Now to be fair, most of the inv had a baptismal date for the 18th of Agosto! The only one that didn't was Genaro! But the Bishop saying this kinda hit him in the heart! Members came up after to congratulate him and everything and he began to think well I guess its the answer that I need be baptized this day! 

So 2 weeks pass by and we don't even know that Genaro has decided to be bapitzed this day. He wife last sunday tells us, Elderes my Husband wants to be baptized finally! You need to come to my house! So we tried to pass by like 2 times during the week but everytime he wasnt home... we basically gave up hope there... Friday night at 10 PM the wife calls me and says, Elder, You have to come to my house tomorrow in the morning at 8 to help my Husband! He is still wanting to be baptized tomorrow! So we are just shocked! We get there at 8 in the morning and see how he feels, went over everything that we have taught him and then at 3 in the afternoon he has his bapitsmal interview and at 4 he was baptized. Seriously one of the biggest miracles of my mission haha! 

Well sorry that its super long but i love you all! Hope you have a great week! Transfers are next week and I will be getting a new comp (Kinda)! Elder Constanze is going to go to Catamarca and Elder Vaz is going to be my comp again! I am super excited to be comps with him again! :)

La Rioja Trip with Presidente y la Hna Correa

This week was way fun and way tiring hahahaha! So our investigators are all doing super great right now! we are having a few problems with a few of the kids we are teaching... the parents, who are listening to us too, dont want their kids to be baptized bc they think they are too young... which really is just an excuse but we are working on that! so if you could all pray for the parents of Esteban, Evelin, Fernando, y Marisol! But we are super close with all of them so please just pray :)

So this Wednesday we went to La Rioja, a diferent provinance with Presidente y la Hna Correa! It was super fun! It was like a 5 hour trip there and we took a lot of pics that you will be getting haha! But it was awesome! We did interviews with all the missionarys in their zone and the zone of Catamarca and had a conferance with them all! It went so well! The spirit was so strong and went so well! We were there 2 days and came home friday morning! But Presidente stayed for a conferance in a church on sunday up there so we had to come back in bus... hahaha it kinda sucked lol but oh well its all good! That night in bus we didnt sleep like at all so friday, saturday and sunday we were just soooo tired hahaha!

We have had some super cool experiances latly with our investigators! So Constanza and I have had super great unity together as comps and its been great! and for that, we have had some super spirtual lessons together! We have had so many experiances where we are teaching or capacitating or something togther and the 2 of us at the same time think to say something or change what we had planned! Its been super cool and a testimony that the Spirit has been with us always these last few weeks!  

So we also started doing the changes for the transfer that is happeneing in 2 weeks! that has been super cool! Its been super stressful for Presidente for all the chagnes that we have to make bc 17 new missionaries are getting to the mission! So that is going to be super cool! And 14 of them are gringos so we are going to have a super fun time here in the offices hahahaha! Love you all! talk to you next week!
